My running season
started today! I ran 10 km from home to work and it felt AMAZING!!! And with the
right equipment you can make it much easier and the whole training will go nice
and smooth! For a new running season I bought something new :) For me it’s important to have comfortable sporty clothes! Beautiful outfit on a lovely body is always a good motivation ;) !
The most
important are the shoes, if they don’t sit right, your all training goes like
down the drain. Check out your feet and watch how you step, outside or inside
of the foot. That will assign your future sneakers. I needed support for my
inner foot part, that’s why I chose Asics gel Kayano 18 shoes, they support my whole
feet perfectly and they are soft and feel great while running. Also the shoes should be 1cm bigger, because during a run feet get swollen.
Some facts:
Choose better stretch tights, which fit closely to the body. This combination of fit and material gives a certain degree of compressive strength which helps to keep the muscles warm and also helps to hold the muscles tightly together. It also creates a streamlined profile which creates minimal drag while the runner is running. Looser pants are hindering the runner’s performance. For hobby runners, just like me, looser fitting shorts such as split panel shorts may be more comfortable during training, but when every second counts it is best to minimize drag as much as possible. I found Adidas shorts for summer heat :)
For me, I found a perfect pants. I haven't bought them yet, but i'm going to. They fulfill all the functions mentioned above and I think that they are PERFECT! Work out longer in a comfortable fit, slimmer silhouette, without showing your imperfection, in any weather without having so irritated sweaty legs. Actually the whole Skins production is great! Girls, if
you don’t wanna have a hanging breast till the age of 40, so I suggest you to
have a really supporting bra, unless you are having a victim, who is going to be
seduced during the morning run :) Unfortunately, finding a good bra
is a unique experience. So that I can give only one practical advice, when you try it,
jump for some time on the place. Breast is not supposed to be wild and fly in
different direction.
Pants! Important equipment. People are
different and we like different kind of pants, different color, length,
material, but make sure, that following features are in your running pants:
- Lightweight material, avoid cotton and nylon
- Wicking fabrics (wicks moisture away from skin, keeping you drier)
- Breathability
- Drawstring waist, or a on a thick elastic, for not slipping down
- Flexibility
- Pockets with zipper closures for music devices, keys and other stuff..
- Mesh paneling (located behind knees and back, for not to overheat as easily)
- Reflective patches, in case you like to spring in the dark
